Cashier / Receptionist - Automotive Dealership
Location: Huntsville, AL
Position Type: Full-Time
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, rotating every other Saturday (35-40 hrs/ week)
Compensation: Starting at $14-$15 per hour, depending on experience, with potential growth based on performance and longevity.
Job Summary
We are actively seeking to hire a full-time Cashier and Receptionist to join a highly respected, family-owned automotive group with multiple locations in Huntsville. The ideal candidate will be the welcoming face and voice of the dealership's service department, answering incoming calls, greeting walk-in customers, processing payments, and providing light administrative and accounting support.

Schedule
Full-time weekday hours with a rotating schedule that includes every other Saturday. A weekday off is provided during weeks that include a Saturday shift. Total hours range from 35 to 40 per week.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills with an upbeat personality.
Punctual, flexible, and focused on professional growth.
Valid driver's license with a clean record.
Professional demeanor with reliable transportation.
Basic accounting or cashiering experience preferred.
What Will You Do?
You'll manage service counter transactions, answer phone calls, route inquiries to the right departments, greet visitors warmly, and help with basic accounting and clerical tasks. Your goal will be to maintain a seamless, organized, and welcoming front-end experience for all customers.
Responsibilities
Manage transactions with customers using cash registers.
Collect payments, whether in cash or credit.
Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets.
Answer dealership group phones, greet and receive prospects and customers
Direct customers to the correct department, notify the appropriate person that a customer is waiting, and introduce the customer to the salesperson
Work cooperatively with the sales and other internal teams
Communicate with callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
Type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents
