Pricing Analyst

Job Description

Hours - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in office 3-5 days per week

POSITION SUMMARY

The Pricing Analyst will play a crucial role in developing effective pricing strategies by analyzing market and financial information to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability for accounts and products.

OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide cross departmental support for internal and external inquiries related to pricing and contracts for assigned customers.

Develop pricing analytics for all pricing queries related to assigned customers.

Manage day to day pricing requests and periodic RFPs for assigned customers.

Ensure pricing accuracy in customer letters, ERP and CRM systems.

Assist in periodic reviews of current pricing to ensure competitiveness and profitability.

Assist in the preparation and distribution of pricing proposals, documents and notifications.

Assist in the maintenance of the pricing inbox.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Education

Bachelor's degree in related field (Business, Economics) or 2+ years of equivalent work experience

Experience

1+ years prior experience in pharmaceutical pricing preferred

2+ years prior experience in rebate or gross to net analysis

Knowledge and Skills

Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Must be detail oriented and organized.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, Model N and other similar systems.

Must have the ability to work independently and as a team member, helping wherever is needed.

Must have a high sense of urgency to meet deadlines and the ability to work well under pressure.

Must have the ability to interact with all levels of personnel, including senior management and external customers.

The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties.

Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the work day.

The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds
