As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in a government setting, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your armed designation allows you to respond appropriately to incidents as needed. You will interact with the public, providing excellent customer service and clear communication, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSat10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior or security-related incidents within the government facility.

Assist with access control and verify identification as required by site-specific protocols.

Document and communicate observations, incidents, and activities according to established procedures.

Support emergency response efforts and coordinate with local authorities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

Nevada Security Professional License is required.

An Armed guard card or license is preferred.

Must have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
