Salary:

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead and coordinate complex projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and client expectations. This role serves as the primary point of contact (POC) for our clients and is responsible for overseeing cross-functional teams, managing program deliverables, driving release planning, and engaging key stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

Must live in proximity to customer in Rockville, MD.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing communication, expectations, and satisfaction.

Oversee day-to-day program operations, ensuring timely delivery of quality deliverables across multiple projects.

Lead cross-functional teams through planning, execution, and delivery phases.

Develop and manage detailed program plans including timelines, release schedules, resources, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.

Facilitate regular status meetings, stand-ups, and stakeholder updates to ensure alignment and transparency.

Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

Maintain a strong understanding of the clients business needs to align deliverables with strategic objectives.

Collaborate with product owners, technical leads, and QA teams to coordinate successful releases.

Track program performance using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure goals are met.

Support continuous improvement initiatives by capturing lessons learned and sharing best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Masters preferred).

5+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in a client-facing role.

Proven experience managing large, cross-functional teams and complex program deliverables.

Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and/or other project management methodologies.

Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent.

Preferred:

PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification.

Experience in software development lifecycle and release planning in a tech-driven organization.
