Inventory Clerk

Openwork is currently engaged in search to find an Inventory Clerk responsible for monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring the accuracy of records, and supporting the efficient flow of goods. This role involves data entry, physical stock checks, and coordination with other departments to ensure inventory integrity.

As an Inventory Clerk you’ll be responsible for:

Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.

Perform regular physical counts and reconcile with system records.

Receive, unpack, and store incoming inventory and verify quantities.

Organize and maintain stockroom and warehouse inventory in a clean and orderly fashion.

Report discrepancies or damaged items to the supervisor.

Assist in cycle counts, audits, and inventory reporting.

Label inventory items and ensure proper documentation.

Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams regarding stock levels and order placements.

Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times.

What you’ll need:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.

Proven experience as an inventory clerk or similar role.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Basic math and computer skills (MS Excel, data entry).

Ability to lift and move moderately heavy items.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Warehouse or stockroom environment.

May require standing or walking for extended periods.

Perks:

Full time; Two shifts available

Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:30 & Monday-Friday 4:30-12:30 with occasional overtime.

Pay $16-$18 an hour
