As a Security Professional - Warehouse Access Control in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more .

As a Front Desk professional in a logistics and distribution location, you will be responsible for monitoring entry points, greeting visitors, and assisting with access control. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing excellent customer service and clear communication. You will remain visible at your post, respond to inquiries, and support a welcoming environment. Our team values agility, reliability, and innovation, and we prioritize people through teamwork and integrity in all interactions.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $14.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist visitors, employees, and delivery personnel at the front desk, following site-specific procedures for access and identification.

Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Maintain accurate logs of visitors, deliveries, and any security-related incidents occurring at the front desk.

Communicate with site management and other team members regarding any concerns or unusual activities observed at the location.

Support emergency response activities as directed, including following evacuation or lockdown procedures when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security experience is required.

Florida Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.

A valid guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
