Local CDL Class A Drivers

Job Description

We are seeking Local CDL Class A Drivers to join our team ASAP! We have two immediate positions open for local driving within the Augusta, Georgia / Aiken, South Carolina area. Applicants are welcome from any nearby area. You will be responsible for safely operating a manual transmission Mack or Kenworth truck and attached walking floor trailer with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).

Qualifications:

Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields

Must be able to operate a manual transmission *previous work experience a plus*

Class A commercial driver's license

Ability to handle physical workload

Strong work ethic and can reliably commute to job site

Ability to work overtime hours as needed *drivers are needed 7 days a week (weather permitting) so potential for overtime will be highly likely*

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a manual transmission heavy or tractor-trailer truck with attached walking floor trailer

Load and unload cargo as needed

Properly track and document activity log and/or send haul ticket verification daily

Report any issues or incidents to dispatch or immediate supervisor

Inspect truck before and after trip to make sure everything is in proper working order
