We are seeking a talented and driven Licensed Project Architect to lead the design and execution of innovative architectural projects. In this key leadership role, you will take projects from concept through completion, ensuring exceptional quality, performance, and design integrity. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, consultants, engineers, and internal teams to deliver inspiring and functional spaces that exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, budgets, schedules, and scopes. Align project strategies with client goals and business objectives.

Design Leadership: Drive the design process from conceptualization through design development, ensuring creativity, functionality, and technical excellence.

Construction Administration: Lead and oversee construction phases, ensuring adherence to design intent, quality standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.

Client & Stakeholder Communication: Build strong client relationships through regular communication, transparency, and responsiveness. Coordinate with contractors and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Coordination: Collaborate with internal design teams and external consultants to integrate structural, MEP, and sustainable systems into cohesive architectural solutions.

Quality Assurance: Enforce rigorous quality control standards and review project documentation for accuracy and consistency.

Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and reports with clarity and precision.

Team Management: Supervise and mentor junior staff, and provide regular updates and reporting to firm leadership.

What We’re Looking For:

Licensed Architect (Illinois) with 5+ years of experience leading medium to large-scale projects

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution

Deep understanding of building systems, construction methodologies, and local building codes

Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making capabilities

Excellent communication, collaboration, and client-relations skills

Proficiency in architectural software including AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp

Highly organized with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
