Haskins Automotive is seeking a full-time experienced Collision Customer Service Rep for IMMEDIATE hire. Hours are 7:30 am-4 pm Monday-Friday and 8 am-12 pm on Saturdays (with one day off during Monday-Friday). Haskins Automotive is a full-service independent dealer shop located in downtown Wellesley. In addition to our Collision Center, we have a sizeable Service and Used Car Sales Department. Family owned and operated since 1929, we are an established business aggressively pursuing growth.

The Claims Representative duties include:

Greeting all customers when they enter the office in a timely and professional manner

Answering the phones, taking messages, and forwarding the messages to the appropriate Appraiser

Monitoring email account, and responding to emails on a timely basis

Scheduling all body shop appointments

Reviewing all payment policies with customer and with insurance personnel prior to the customer arriving to take delivery of their vehicle

Verifying that parts have arrived and notifying the customer the day prior to their appointment

Receiving and reviewing all customer required forms for accuracy

Transmitting all DTPs to insurance companies on a timely basis

Writing up repair orders

Inputting all sublet items onto Repair Orders

Scheduling any/all alternate transportation needed by a customer, including rental cars

Properly receiving payments from the customer, inputting payments into the management system, using the credit card machines, and handling all of the administrative aspects of delivery

Maintaining all receivables within a 30-day time period

Routinely working with Business Office Manager on issues relating to receivables

Notifying customers when their vehicle is completed, reviewing payment information, and notifying customers of hours of operation

The Claims Representative should:

Be outgoing, friendly, helpful, and people-oriented

Dress in an appropriate and professional manner

Have excellent organizational and communication skills

Have the ability to adapt to daily changing circumstances

Maintain an organized and clean working area

Maintain a good work attitude and cooperate with fellow employees

Be very thorough and detailed in their documentation process

Be able to multitask

Be proficient in data entry

Have basic accounting skills

Be proficient in CCC Estimating Software, Microsoft Word & ExcelCompany Description
