Fabricator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Steel Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with steel, interpreting blueprints, and using fabrication tools and machinery to produce high-quality components for commercial and industrial projects.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
Measure, cut, bend, and assemble metal components using tools such as shears, saws, brakes, and welding equipment.
Operate fabrication machinery including press brakes, punch presses.
Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding as required.
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in metal fabrication or a related field.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measuring tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with structural steel and custom metalwork.

Work Environment
You will be working in a metal shop environment with a team of around six individuals. The work schedule starts at 6 AM during the summer, working 8-10 hours depending on workload, currently averaging 10-hour shifts. Monday-Friday.

This is a Contract position based out of La Vista, Nebraska.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
