Overnight Scientific Laboratory Technician Compensation

• The pay for this position is $22.05 per hour

• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Scientific Laboratory Technician Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

• The required availability for this position is Monday–Thursday, 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM (overnights)

Overnight Scientific Laboratory Technician Responsibilities

• Manufacture and assemble clinical and commercial products

• Operate production equipment, ensuring proper materials and quantities

• Assist with in-process testing to ensure batches meet specifications

• Validate processes and equipment related to filtration, cleaning, and sterilization

• Handle the removal and disposal of waste chemicals, solvents, and acids

• Create solutions, powders, and liquids for batches to meet specifications

• Provide training support for onboarding and new procedures

• Assist the lead/supervisor and recommend improvements for operational efficiency

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

• Adhere to all company safety and housekeeping policies

Overnight Scientific Laboratory Technician Requirements

• High school diploma with technical certification in laboratory operations plus 3 years of lab experience, OR

• Associate’s degree in a scientific discipline with 2-3 years of lab experience, OR

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline with 1-2 years of lab experience

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Must be detail-oriented with excellent time management skills

• Ability to work independently

• Proficiency in MS Excel and English (reading, writing, basic arithmetic)
