IT Support Specialist III (Senior)

Employment Type: 13 Week Contract to Hire

Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist III (Senior) to take on a dynamic production support role within our organization, ensuring the seamless operation, troubleshooting, and enhancement of robotic process automation (RPA) systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, integrate, and operate RPA solutions using technologies such as Blue Prism.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to minimize disruptions.

Configure and maintain servers and virtual machines essential to the environment's operability.

Collaborate with both onshore and offshore developers during system operations.

Mentor and train team members while contributing to their professional growth.

Partner with internal technology teams and external vendors to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

Engage in requirements definition, proof of concepts, and delivering robust RPA solutions.

Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and best practices while applying them to the role.

Comply with corporate and team standards, completing tasks both independently and collaboratively.

Basic Qualifications:

Coursework toward a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or successful completion of a Technology Bootcamp.

Minimum 4 years of experience in developing or operating web-based applications within a corporate environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.

At least 1 year of experience developing RPA solutions via Blue Prism.

Demonstrated experience with JavaScript, .Net applications (web or desktop), VBA macros, and/or mainframe scripting tools (e.g., Passport Attachmate).

Familiarity with other RPA technologies, including Automation Anywhere, UIPath, Ruby, or Cucumber.

Experience integrating RPA solutions with enterprise applications such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, Hogan, CheckVision, and IBM Case Manager.

Detail-oriented with a track record of producing high-quality deliverables.

Proven ability to quickly learn new systems, technologies, and tools.

Strong analytical skills paired with a talent for troubleshooting and balancing support and development roles.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to partner effectively across various levels and roles.
