Job Description
We are expanding our business and are looking for an experienced and qualified Sous Chef to organize the kitchen's activities. You will be working with the Chef to inspect dishes before they leave for events ensuring high quality and contentment.
Responsibilities
Food preparation process and any other relative activities.
Assist in the construct and menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings.
Approve and "polish" dishes before they reach the customer.
Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages.
Arrange for repairs when necessary.
Remedy any problems or defects.
Able to be flexible with hours based on event times.
Positive attitude.
Comply with nutrition, sanitation and safety standards.
Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers
Skills
Proven experience as Sous Chef
Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
Outstanding communication skills
Up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes
Credentials in health and safety training
