Job Description
We develop, build, own, and manage residential buildings in East Harlem and we currently have an open position for a Bilingual Receptionist/Admin Assistant. The essential function of the role is to provide general office work and administrative support to the accounting & human resources departments.
Qualified candidates should be personable, punctual, professional, efficient, courteous, detail orientated, self-motivated, reliable, and excellent at multitasking.
This a full-time position, working Monday through Friday. 9am - 5pm
In-office, no hybrid or remote option available.
Key Responsibilities
Handling email and telephone inquiries, fielding and directing incoming calls.
Ensuring the department calls are handled in a prompt and professional manner.
Ensuring the department voicemail messages are reviewed daily and directed to the appropriate person.
Able to provide excellent customer service at all times.
Receive and sort incoming mail.
Sort outgoing mail and schedule FedEx shipments as required.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Excellent email etiquette and a good telephone manner that is always polite and courteous.
Ability to work well under pressure, to cost and time constraints.
Highly organized and detail orientated, with the ability to keep multiple projects.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, multifaceted work environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (outlook, word & excel) and other computer systems, Yardi experience a plus.
Demonstrates good communication skills both written & spoken in English & Spanish
Has excellent time management and organizational skills - Able to multi-task as required.
Team player, able to work with all levels of staff in a dynamic environment.
