We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, manage employee deductions, and maintain compliance with all payroll regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of payroll systems and accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
• Process weekly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Handle garnishments, deductions, and other payroll-related adjustments in compliance with legal requirements.
• Reconcile payroll accounts to ensure alignment with financial records and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage and administer 401(k) and other employee benefit contributions.
• Utilize payroll software systems such as Ceridian, UKG Pro, and Crystal Reports to streamline payroll operations.
• Prepare and deliver payroll reports for auditing purposes and internal review.
• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to address payroll-related inquiries and provide necessary support.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and reporting requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct audits of payroll processes to maintain accuracy and integrity.• Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing, including multi-state payroll.
• Proficiency with payroll systems such as Ceridian, UKG Pro, and Crystal Reports.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and payroll-related functions.
• Familiarity with employee benefits administration, including 401(k) contributions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
