Job Title: Inventory Control Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Coordinator to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory processes. You will be responsible for comparing and reconciling physical inventory counts with system records, monitoring inventory performance, and handling discrepancies. Your role is pivotal in minimizing inventory variance and maintaining accountability through diligent cycle counts and system maintenance.

Responsibilities

Reconcile physical and financial inventories and monitor performance.

Conduct monthly counts of finished goods, packaging, or ingredients.

Minimize and track breakage to maintain inventory variance below targets.

Complete system maintenance to ensure accurate inventory accountability.

Finalize all required cycle count documentation with appropriate signatures.

Review, reconcile, and process retail claims, billing as necessary.

Assist with product shipment billings in M3 for warehouse operations.

Compile the weekly plant shipment delivery log.

Ensure completion of all sales orders in M3 and address inventory discrepancies with the buyer.

Process inventory adjustments and ensure completion for each monthly cycle count/period close.

Handle inquiries from customers, carriers, and corporate traffic.

Assist with general office duties.

Work weekends during period close weeks or as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Skills

Proficiency in data entry and data analysis with 2-3 years of experience.

Strong problem-solving abilities, math, and analytical skills.

Comfortable using Microsoft Excel for data entry and calculations.

Experience with cycle counting and inventory management.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Exceptional phone and email etiquette.

Ability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, stoop, twist, and lift product cases.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Detail-oriented with high accuracy in counting.

Organized and flexible with the ability to handle multiple assignments.

Experience with SAP, RF scan gun, and warehouse inventory systems.

Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Leandro, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
