LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Compliance Risk Analyst to work hybrid/in office if local to the Farmingville, Long Island area or remote if out of state and qualified! Must live on the Eastern Time Zone.

***Must have banking industry experience***

This is a long term (through September) Consultant role.

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance & Risk Audit Specialist to join the team. This role is responsible for conducting regulatory compliance audits, operational risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to internal and external standards across credit union operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regulatory compliance risk audits in accordance with the audit schedule, using independent judgment to identify, develop, and document audit issues and recommendations.

Perform operational risk audit tests, including branch audits, and document findings and recommendations.

Execute compliance risk assessments and testing to ensure adherence to banking laws and regulations.

Prepare and deliver written reports of risk assessments and audit findings to management on a monthly basis.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, and internal audit standards; complete required training annually.

Monitor, assign, and analyze trends in member complaints.

Coordinate with legal counsel on the review of trust, guardianship, and power of attorney (POA) documentation.

Assist in training credit union employees on compliance, security, and fraud-related topics.

Respond to employee inquiries regarding compliance, security, and fraud programs.

Complete and/or coordinate special projects as assigned by management.

Support investigations into suspicious activity or control issues as needed.

Provide backup support to departmental staff when necessary.

Contribute to the credit union’s mission by performing additional duties as requested by management.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $55.00 per hour
