About the Role
As our Technical Sales Representative / Sales Engineer, you'll play a vital role in driving revenue growth and establishing strong customer relationships. This hybrid role combines sales expertise with technical knowledge to deliver impactful solutions and drive customer success.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation: Proactively identify and reach out to potential customers in target industries.
Follow-Up: Build and nurture relationships with leads, moving them through the sales pipeline.
Technical Pitches: Deliver compelling presentations and demos tailored to customer needs.
Proposal Writing: Develop detailed, customized proposals that address customer challenges and highlight ROI.
Collaboration: Partner with the engineering team to ensure customer requirements are met.
Market Insights: Provide feedback to improve products and refine sales strategies.
What We're Looking For
2-5 years experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in lab automation, life sciences, or biotech
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Comfortable managing the full sales cycle, from first outreach to closing
Highly organized and proactive - able to work independently and manage multiple prospects
Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Pipedrive)
Familiarity with lab workflows and common devices (plate handlers, pipettors, sealers, etc.) is a big plus
