Job Description

Responsibilities
Analyze specifications: Review job orders, blueprints, and technical drawings to calculate dimensions, select tools, and determine machine speeds.
Program CNC machines: Create and optimize CNC programs using CAM software to ensure precision and efficiency.
CNC setup & calibration: Set up CNC equipment, calibrate tools, and ensure proper machine function before production.
Trial runs & adjustments: Perform trial simulations, adjusting programs as needed to ensure accuracy and minimize errors.
Safety & cleanliness: Follow all safety standards, wear PPE for the duration of the shift while on the manufacturing floor, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Cross-departmental support: Assist with other areas of production as needed to ensure smooth operations.Essential Skills
At least 2 years of experience programming and setting up 3-axis CNC mills.
Strong understanding of basic machining practices and mechanical processes.
Solid math skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical details.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Dependable with a commitment to high-quality, precise work standards.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
Work is conducted in a manufacturing environment from 2:30 pm to 1:00 am, Monday through Thursday. The environment is non-climate-controlled, and employees are required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SACRAMENTO, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
