**Help Wanted: Equipment Operator - Grading and Site Work**
Are you an experienced Equipment Operator with a passion for construction and site preparation? We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team and play a crucial role in executing high-quality construction projects.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Safely operate heavy machinery including bulldozers, excavators, and graders for grading and site preparation tasks.
- Perform grading activities to ensure sites meet specifications, including setting up lasers and reading grade stakes.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment.
- Assist in site clearing, debris removal, and preparing areas for construction.
- Carry out routine maintenance on machinery and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and project managers to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and incidents.
**Qualifications:**
- 3-5 years of experience operating heavy equipment in grading and site work.
- Proficiency in operating bulldozers, skid steers, excavators, and graders.
- Strong understanding of site plans, blueprints, and grading specifications.
- Ability to set up lasers and shoot grades accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
- Stamina for long hours of work, including standing, walking, and climbing on uneven terrain.
- Good vision and hearing to operate equipment safely and communicate effectively.
- Tolerance for various weather conditions and noise on construction sites.
