Job Title: Quality Inspector (Night)
Job Description
This role ensures adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards, focusing on proper housekeeping, hygiene, and product integrity. The quality inspector reads and follows written instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements to perform tasks in compliance with quality standards. The inspector is responsible for inspecting and receiving all labels, ensuring they comply with labeling specifications and accurately reflect expiration dates for intended use.
Responsibilities
Conduct cycle counts and issue labels, outserts, and inserts to jobs
Destroy expired items to maintain inventory accuracy and compliance
Perform visual inspections and quality checks
Read and understand lot numbers and batch records
Apply GMP practices and adhere to SOPsEssential Skills
Experience in inspection and quality assurance
Knowledge of production and quality inspection processes
Proficiency in visual inspection and quality control
Understanding of GMP practices and medical device standards
Ability to read batch records and lot numbersAdditional Skills & Qualifications

The work environment includes two distinct rooms: a low-speed room with 8 people working on the floor in a lower intensity setting, and a high-speed room with 12 people always multitasking. Employees will not work in the high-speed room until after training. The night shift hours are from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Camarillo, California.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.16 - $19.16/hr.
