Site Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join our team in Anaheim, California. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to various engineering projects, particularly focusing on system implementation, optimization, and technical support. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in industrial applications and construction engineering to support both office and field operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and update redline drawings based on field observations and incorporate them into comprehensive design packages.

• Conduct on-site engineering tasks and oversee system implementation to ensure project success.

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues to maintain efficient operations.

• Coordinate project activities and prepare detailed documentation to track progress.

• Optimize systems and integrate them seamlessly with third-party equipment and protocols.

• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.

• Utilize industry-standard communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, BACnet, and Lon to create network diagrams.

• Ensure compliance with engineering specifications and construction standards.

• Leverage Microsoft Office tools to manage project workflows and documentation.

• Apply engineering expertise to support system integration and performance enhancements.• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering or construction-related roles.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting industrial drawings and specifications.

• Hands-on experience with industry-standard communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, BACnet, or Lon.

• Knowledge of control systems and their integration with construction applications.

• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office tools for project management and documentation.

• Background in construction or engineering, with the ability to adapt to control system training.

• Experience working with industrial control systems and understanding their operational requirements.
