Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Audit Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing and managing the entire audit process for our real estate clients, ensuring all audit work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
2. Working closely with clients to understand their business operations, identify potential areas of risk, and provide recommendations for improving their financial processes and controls.
3. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing them with expert advice and guidance on complex accounting and financial matters.
4. Leading and mentoring a team of auditors, providing them with the training and support they need to deliver exceptional audit services.
5. Collaborating with other departments within the company to enhance our overall service offering and contribute to the development of new business opportunities.
6. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in real estate accounting and auditing.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA certification is required
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with a specific focus on real estate and private equity.
3. A thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards, particularly as they relate to the real estate industry.
4. Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage a team and drive high performance.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Proficiency in using accounting software and other financial management tools.
