Schedule: Full-Time Some evening/weekend flexibility required

About the Role
Personnel Services Unlimited is recruiting a Retail Store Manager-Nonprofit for a mission-driven retail environment that supports affordable housing and community initiatives. This hands-on leadership role oversees daily operations, volunteer coordination, customer service, and store logistics.
Responsibilities Include:
Manage day-to-day retail operations, including merchandising, inventory, and equipment upkeep
Supervise and support a team of cashiers, stockroom associates, and donation drivers
Lead, train, and schedule volunteers and community service workers
Maintain accurate financial records: sales, bank deposits, spreadsheets
Assist with pricing, customer service, and donation intake
Promote a safe, clean, and organized store environment
Coordinate with leadership to support community-focused events and store initiatives
Job Skills and Requirements:
Previous experience in retail management, customer service, or nonprofit operations
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to motivate volunteers and create a positive team culture
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and basic office equipment
Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities
Must be able to lift 50 lbs independently (team lift for up to 100 lbs)
Comfortable standing, bending, and working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Clean driving record and reliable transportation are required
Must pass pre-employment background and drug screening
