About the Role:

The Weekly Rental Service Manager will oversee the daily operations of our short-term vacation home rental properties, managing the reservation booking process, guest interactions, property maintenance and ensuring that guests receive exceptional service and that the properties are maintained to the highest standards. This role is crucial in maximizing occupancy rates and enhancing guest satisfaction, which directly impacts on the overall profitability of the rental business. The manager will coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance, and various vendors to ensure seamless operations and address any issues that arise promptly. Additionally, the role involves analyzing market trends and guest feedback to implement strategies that improve service offerings and property appeal.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience in property management or a similar role within the real estate or hospitality industry.

Proficiency in online rental platforms and online booking platforms required.

Experience with Streamline rental platform highly preferred.

Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.

Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Basic understanding of local rental laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of local real estate market trends and regulations.

Previous experience in leadership or supervisory role.

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations of vacation rental properties, including guest check-ins and check-outs.

Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure properties are clean, well-maintained, and ready for guests.

Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase occupancy rates and attract new guests.

Monitor guest feedback and reviews to identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall guest experience.

Prepare financial reports and budgets, analyzing performance metrics to drive profitability.

Software Administration

The required skills for this position include strong organizational and multitasking abilities, which are essential for managing various aspects of property operations simultaneously. Excellent communication skills are necessary for effectively interacting with guests, staff, and vendors, ensuring that all parties are informed and satisfied. Problem-solving skills will be utilized daily to address any issues that arise, from maintenance requests to guest complaints, ensuring a smooth operation. Additionally, analytical skills will be important for interpreting market data and guest feedback, allowing the manager to make informed decisions that enhance service offerings. Preferred skills, such as familiarity with property management software, will streamline operations and improve efficiency in managing bookings and guest communications.
