Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will work independently, interpret blueprints accurately, and demonstrate proficiency in using calipers, TIG and MIG welding, and operating press brakes. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and a commitment to producing high-quality fabricated components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and specifications to fabricate metal components.
Perform TIG and MIG welding to create strong, precise welds on various materials, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Operate press brakes to bend and form metal parts according to design specifications.
Use calipers and other precision measuring tools to ensure components meet exact tolerances and quality standards.
Work independently to complete projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety protocols.
Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a fabricator in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques, with the ability to produce clean and consistent welds.
Hands-on experience operating press brakes and forming metal components.
Expertise in using calipers and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions.
Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Knowledge of workplace safety standards and procedures, including proper handling of tools and materials.
Physical stamina and dexterity to handle heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in welding or fabrication is a plus.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with additional fabrication tools such as plasma cutters, grinders, or CNC machinery.
Experience working with a variety of metals and alloys.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
