Revenue Cycle Analyst (Medical Biller)

A health services agency in New York City is currently seeking a Revenue Cycle Analyst (Medical Biller) to join their Revenue Cycle Management team in Queens on a full-time basis.

About the Opportunity:

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Hours: 9am to 5pm

Setting: Office

Responsibilities:

Providing updates and feedback on billing activities to the Director of Revenue Cycle Management,

Communicating and resolving interruptions in the revenue cycle that prohibit maximized reimbursement

Providing ongoing focus and reporting on claims reprocess improvement and best practice

Analyzing and addressing billing denials, determining necessary corrections, and resubmissions

Developing and maintaining reports, notably denial analysis reports, to identify trends and areas for improvement

Communicating effectively with insurance payers to resolve issues and secure timely payments

Supporting team members on specific billing systems and processes

Performing other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

1+ year of experience in a Billing or a related field

Strong experience with Denials Management

Knowledge of Eligibility and Coordination of Benefits

Familiarity with Medical Billing software systems, such as Acunetix and Avatar for EHR

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
