Description

As a District Manager for Smoker Friendly, you will oversee and direct operations at several retail locations within your assigned district. Your job will involve travel between locations and opportunities to interact with a dynamic, diverse group of people in a team-oriented work environment.

Reporting: Corporate Management Team

Direct Reports: Full-Time Supervisors

Indirect Reports: Retail Sales Associates

Key Responsibilities

• Manage operational performance of stores within your assigned locations

• Collaborate with directors to create strategic plans aligned with company objectives

• Ensure that sites in your district are compliant with company policy and procedures

• Execute training programs for staff members to drive sales performance and team development

• Develop processes for location and individual performance evaluations

• Monitor and control inventory at each location

• Ensure in-stock status at assigned locations

• Implement sales and marketing campaigns per company guidelines

• Develop and track incentives to motivate employees to meet and exceed sales goals

• Collect data and analyze reports to inform decision-making

• Review historical operations data and reports to identify areas for improvement and innovation

Maintain financial information; payroll; approve expenditures

Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Additional formal training in Management, Finance, or Sales preferred

• Experience as a District Manager for stores of a comparable size

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Excellent leadership skills; approachable and able to cultivate positive rapport with employees

• Prior experience in management and supervisory roles, sales, marketing, or customer service

• Tobacco store or tobacco sales experience is preferred, but not required

• Ability to devise relevant and innovative strategies

• Strategic thinker with a calm, rational approach under pressure

• Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and systems like Paylocity

• Adept at mathematics and finance; able to balance budgets

• Strong time management skills; ability to multitask effectively

• Analytical and critical thinking skills

• Goal-oriented with proven ability to get results
