Advanced Application Engineering Manager (Accenture LLP; Hartford, CT): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Advanced Application Engineering Manager in Hartford, CT, and the job duties are as follows:
Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
Develop or update project plans for information technology projects, including documentation such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.
Develop system specifications and interfaces for moderately complex components.
Create operational documentation for the application.
Provide primary support for installation of application releases into production.
Maintain applications according to SLAs.
Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system roll-outs, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications.
Understand strategic direction set by senior management and implement methods and procedures set by management.
Work with team members to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:
Developing IT technical applications and integrating multi-platform client systems, including legacy systems, hybrid environments, and cloud platforms;
Designing end-to-end pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment of microservices using a containerization framework, supporting Node.js, ReactJS, Python, and Java services;
Working with DevSecOps, SRE implementations, and Infrastructure and Cloud Automation;
Utilizing release management process;
Utilizing metrics, reporting tools, and technologies in designing, developing and implementing analytical and reporting methods; and
Supporting project management, including creating teamwork plans and tracking issues and risks.
Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:
Creating and managing new server instances on AWS and Azure cloud platforms; and
Deploying software on AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
