Location: Weatherford, OK

Salary Range: $100,000-$130,000 per year

Overview:

We are working with a well-established manufacturing company to fill a key Engineering Manager role at their Weatherford, OK facility. This is a hands-on leadership position focused on process optimization, team development, and driving plant performance in a film coating and extrusion environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of 6-8 process engineers in a continuous manufacturing setting

Drive improvements in product quality, yield, throughput, and cost-efficiency

Serve as the plant's technical lead for film coating and extrusion processes

Manage capital projects and recommend upgrades to support business goals

Conduct root cause analysis using tools such as 8D, Fishbone, and Five Whys

Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards and train personnel on procedures

Implement Lean Manufacturing practices such as 5S, Kanban, and Value Stream Mapping

Support process scale-up and development of new applications

Provide coaching and development to the engineering team

Minimal travel required (up to 10%) Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related field)

Minimum of 5 years' experience in film coating, resin extrusion, or continuous process manufacturing

Working knowledge of coating systems and equipment

Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems and PFMEA

Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent design software

Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills
