The US Data Architecture Office (DAO) is in place to make sure HSBC defines, documents, and ensures the quality of data for business use cases (processes). In addition, the function tracks compliance with Data Management governance utilizing tools, dashboards, monthly reporting, and key control indicators (KCIs).

As our Data Standards and Modeling Lead you will:

+ Represent the DAO in all matters related to data modeling and data movement

+ Work with DAO, GB/GFs, ITSOs, and other stakeholders to identify data, systems, and systems lineage

+ Define and govern data modeling standards, tools, best practices, and related techniques (incl. Collibra etc.)

+ Define metadata management requirements and ensure a consistent metadata management process is in place

+ Assist Data Management Lead in driving a consistent data management approach across the US

+ Monitor completeness and quality of critical metadata (DUSE and DMOV)

For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $138,400.00 and $185,000.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

**Qualifications**

You ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

+ Ability to proactively identify, understand, and steer changes that will impact key activities identified above

+ Maintain excellent communication and influencing skills and possess gravitas and strong leadership type traits

+ Have good knowledge of Data Management frameworks, with a focus on data definition and data modeling

+ Consistently and eagerly work on enhancing and upgrading his/her skills leveraging internal and external sources

+ Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude and work ethic and works well in the teamwork environment

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and demonstrates an innovative and proactive approach to building new and advanced MI and reporting analytics

+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent at minimum; graduate degree a plus
