Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is looking for an IT Systems Administrator in Suwanee, GA.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The IT Systems Administrator receives assignments for problem solving IT system issues, or receives assignments to administer and maintain Servers, end user computers, computer software, network, and communications systems. The incumbent utilizes advanced technical knowledge of the information technology lifecycle and receives general guidance in order to provide IT support and service to information system users and/or IT staff in infrastructure, software, database systems, and business process analysis, meeting agency business needs and objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

Under general supervision of the IT Manager, administer and manage the operations and maintenance of Servers, company issued laptops, desktops, mobile devices, computer hardware, handheld scanners, software, operating systems and distributed printers.

Administer & support server based applications; user access and connectivity to server based applications. Define plans, and Configure and Administer HVAC Server backup processing.

Engage with selected technology vendor representatives to obtain information, plan, and implement system level changes, upgrades, and updates to company servers, pc, laptop, mobile devices, and other technology infrastructure.

Support the business department teams in planning and implementation of new software applications onto servers, PCs, and other applicable technology platforms.

Provide troubleshooting, technical support and guidance to local and remote users.

Troubleshoot issues related to active directory objects including security settings, and email profiles for OnPrem and Cloud Active Directories.

Perform user support activities using an internal ticket system to organize and prioritize tickets and ensure SLA’s are met.

Contribute to technical planning, implementation, and support of IT and business information projects as needed.

Implement improvements in IT Operations, and IT support processes as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's degree in Information Technology specialty, or 3+ years experience in IT System Administrator role.

3+ years of experience in a Microsoft Active Directory environment or in a related area.

Familiar with the following systems or applications: SmartDeploy or other computer imaging software, PDQ Inventory and Deploy, Server and User PC Patching services, PRTG / Solarwinds or other Monitoring Software. Microsoft Windows Server, Linux Redhat, OnPrem Active Directory and Azure/Entra Cloud, AWS, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Office 365, Apple iPhone and Mac Book support, Zebra scanners, SOTI MDM, Cisco CUCM management and Microsoft Internet Information Services.

Vendor Management – Printers, Circuits (Suwanee, BU offices and warehouses), IDF’s and MDF’s

Strong Customer Service.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $30.77 and $42.31 per hour however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including target bonus plans and discretionary awards. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation per year, 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, depending on hire date. Employees may also take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid [parental/disability/emergency/etc.] leave, if eligible.
