ECP is a market-leading SaaS software solution that enables senior living communities to better care for their residents. ECP is used in over 8,000 communities around the world. We're looking to further expand by increasing the number of customers that use our software and increasing the scope of how we serve our customers by developing and releasing new products.
We're looking for an experienced UX Architect to join our Product team, who is excited to make an impact at a fast-growing 80-person company. We are looking for someone to operate as an experienced individual contributor, while helping to establish UX best practices in collaboration with our Product and Engineering department heads.
Ultimately, you will make our product more user-friendly and intuitive to attract and retain customers. You’ll be working on a set of products that we’ve built in house, in various stages within the product lifecycle.
We are open to remote candidates based in the U.S.
Collaborate with product and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction and experience
Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers
Conduct user research and interviews, gaining a deep understanding of users and their workflows
Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
Conduct concept and usability testing and gather user feedback
Create sitemaps, user journeys, wireframes, and low-fidelity prototypes
Develop the information architecture of products and features, including organizing content and features to ensure users can easily navigate and find what they’re looking for
Prepare and present ideas and prototypes to internal teams and key stakeholders
Collaborate with product designers and engineering to ensure successful implementation of findings in final designs and application
Keep abreast with competitors and industry trends
Establish and promote UX guidelines, best practices and standards
Champion user-centered design principles throughout the product life cycle to ensure user needs remain central to every decision
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
Proven work experience as a UX Architect or similar role
Knowledgeable about HTML, CSS, and JS
Portfolio of design projects
Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
Up-to-date knowledge of design software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
Good time-management skills
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
