BAR SUPERVISOR QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of serving, bartending, or casual fine dining restaurant experience

TABC license

Mixology skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

You work varied schedules within these times:

11:00 am to 12:00 am, Sunday through Wednesday

11:00 am to 2:00 am, Thursday through Saturday

Our Bar Supervisor is a vital part of our uplifting restaurant, tackling the small- and big-picture responsibilities that keep us successful and our guests happy. You skillfully lead the day-to-day while supporting continual growth and guiding our future direction. This dynamic management position covers all aspects of the restaurant, including administrative, staffing, and purchasing functions. You implement new policies to optimize our operations, addressing areas like strategic material usage and employee training, to take us to the next level in the industry!

Day-To-Day Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment

Warmly greet guests and make everyone feel welcome

Troubleshoot POS issues and tackle problems as they arise

Model "people first" service and inspire your team

Ensure cleaning and food safety processes are properly followed

Maintain bar equipment and supplies

Jump in to cover open positions as needed

Recognize employee contributions and assist staff when necessary

Oversee opening and closing procedures

Maintain a culture of respect, integrity, and regulatory compliance

Long-Term Goals and Functions

Identify training needs for bartending staff, design new programs, and facilitate employee growth

Lead new employee onboarding and training

Conduct weekly management meetings to facilitate open discussion among team members, identify weak areas, and implement more effective strategies

Analyze menu prices against the cost of items and make adjustments to improve profits

Develop and execute engaging marketing strategies

Create and oversee environmental management and sustainability programs

Manage event bookings and oversee our catering structure
