- Responsible for the analysis, design, and review of electrical systems.
- Utilize understanding of the governing codes and standards.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office products, CADD, BIM/Revit, AGI32, and other engineering software.
- Ability to conduct field surveys, life cycle cost analyses, energy audits and cost estimating.
- Expect to review submittals, RFI responses, and changes made relating to the construction of electrical systems.
- Must work well independently and with teams.
- Must communicate and collaborate effectively with clients, team members and others.
- Ability to work on multiple jobs simultaneously.
- Follow construction and design budgets and schedules.
- Commit to delivering high quality technical solutions and customer service.
- Ability to manage staff and mentor less experienced staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor of Architectural Engineering, or equivalent is required.
- Requires regular day trips throughout the mid-Atlantic area. Also requires an occasional overnight trip and travel by plane.
- Valid driver's license and appropriate vehicle is required.
- EIT, PE License and/or LEED AP is preferred.
Salary Range of $80,000-$120,000.
