The Opportunity

We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with five years or more years of experience. The ideal candidate for this opportunity is organized, has solid communication skills, can work independently with minimum supervision, is team oriented, personable, and possesses a strong desire to make a positive contribution to the business. This position requires a well-organized and versatile individual who has experience in electrical engineering design and project management skills. Candidates should either have an Electrical Engineering (EE) license or are in the process of obtaining one.

Responsibilities:

Design of projects

Preparation of proposals and fee estimate

Development of work plans and schedules

Assist in the management of projects to ensure they are on schedule, within budget and meet the requirements of our clients

Perform studies, calculations, designs and preparation of plans and reports in accordance with project requirements and engineering standards

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

More than five years of practical work experience

Experience with electrical engineering and an understanding of electrical building codes is required

California Electrical Engineering License or actively pursuing a California EE License is strongly preferred

Experience with AutoCAD

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent customer service skills including an ability to interact professionally and knowledgeably with clients

Solid experience with the MS Office Suite

We offer a generous salary and benefits package that includes company paid medical and dental insurance, vacation and a 401(k) plan.
