The Quality Inspector position is part of the Quality Team and reports to the Quality Director. This position will require a broad range of responsibilities to ensure success. Some examples of these responsibilities are listed below (but are not limited to the following):
Developing and maintaining company inspection reports.
Inspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards.
Ensuring goods and products comply with company standards as well as Federal and State law.
Ensuring test equipment is calibrated and working correctly.
Reporting quality anomalies to the supervisor.
Collating test data and drafting quality reports.
Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
Ensuring production is not hindered by quality testing procedures.
Administrative tasks to maintain compliance to the Quality Management System
Additional tasks as assigned by the Quality Director.

Requirements
High School diploma or GED.
Experience as an Inspection or Quality Technician.
Experience in power supplies and/or electronics manufacturing preferred.
Understanding of basic and shop mathematics required
Basic blueprint reading required
Ability to use and read mics and calipers required
Ability to use electrical testing equipment such as multi-meter preferred
High-level of visual awareness.
Advanced organizational skills and is self-motivated.
Experience drafting reports and collating data.
Ability to work alone with minimal supervision.
Ability to analyze and interpret technical information.
Travel required out of state.
