Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain software applications, APIs, and system integrations.

Develop solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform and on-premises environments.

Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-quality code on schedule.

Contribute to the development of responsive, user-friendly web applications.

Write secure code that defends against common vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, XSS).

Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous integration/deployment workflows.

Required Qualifications:

3+ years of hands-on development experience in the .NET ecosystem.

Expert-level proficiency in C#.

Strong working knowledge of React.

Familiarity with SQL database design and querying.

Experience with RESTful API design and implementation, including Swagger/OpenAPI support.

Strong understanding of responsive web design.

Proficiency in Visual Studio and Azure Web Apps.

Strong communication and collaboration skills in remote work environments.

Comfortable with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development tools like Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Angular or Redux.

Familiarity with NoSQL databases, DocumentDB, or GraphDB.

Awareness of WCAG/ADA accessibility standards.

Knowledge of common web security vulnerabilities and how to mitigate them.

Experience with PowerBI, Domo, or other reporting platforms.

Familiarity with Microsoft IIS, ASP.NET, and .NET 6+.

Background in data modeling and integration of external APIs (JSON, REST).
