Location: West Deptford, NJ

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to lead our data management efforts, optimize our data warehouse, and oversee the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. This role requires expertise in coding languages (Python, SQL, DAX), warehouse architecture, and data security best practices.

The ideal candidate will build an efficient and scalable data infrastructure that supports storage, modeling, and visualization needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with data management teams to assess company-wide data needs.

Gather requirements and analyze business processes to optimize data solutions.

Design, develop, and enhance data warehouse architecture.

Build and maintain data pipelines, ensuring smooth extraction, transformation, and loading activities.

Lead data migration initiatives and validate accuracy through testing.

Continuously improve and scale existing data processes and architecture.

Partner with business units to deliver high-quality, reliable data solutions.

Identify potential issues in ETL pipelines, communicate findings, and implement resolutions.

Maintain thorough documentation of all processes and systems.

Support business units on various projects and troubleshoot technical challenges as needed.

Perform additional tasks as requested by management.

Qualifications:

Minimum 4+ years of experience in data architecture or related roles.

Proficiency in ETL development, Power BI, and Microsoft Fabric reporting.

Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations databases.

Strong SQL expertise, including query optimization and database management.

Experience with SQL Data Lake, Azure Data Warehouse, Cognitive Services, and Azure Machine Learning (Azure ML).

Knowledge of big data technologies and various SQL data storage mechanisms.

Coding proficiency in Python, SQL, and DAX.

Expertise in warehouse architecture techniques such as MOLAP, ROLAP, ODS, DM, and EDW.

Strong understanding of data security principles, layered security controls, and authorization methods.

Experience with Azure Active Directory (SSO authentication).

Hands-on experience with ETL tools like TimeXtender, Azure pipeline, Synapse Analytics.

Ability to assess long-term data needs and create strategic solutions.

Willingness to travel to remote sites as required.

Availability for on-call support outside of business hours.
