Your Job
Where hands-on leadership meets strategic impact—drive excellence in paint operations at RESRG. The Paint Manager is responsible for overseeing all of the day to day activities of the Morehead facility’s Paint Department, while having a passion for customer focus, creating value, and ensuring compliance
What you Will do in Your Role
Has overall accountability for the day-to-day activities of the Paint Department.
Oversee and facilitate operational compliance with all laws and regulations (i.e. Title V Air Permits).
Utilize Paint and Power BI KPI’s to monitor department and plant performance and drive continuous improvement for the paint line to exceed business plan targets and reduce waste.
Coach, mentor, and lead talent development within the Paint department to create ownership and long-term sustainability.
Responsible for ensuring proper training and documentation for all 3 shifts of employees within their department.
Monitor preventative maintenance activity to ensure equipment reliability.
Supports the Environmental Department in providing resources adequate to achieve environmental objectives and targets and proper implementation and maintenance of the EMS.
Responsible for compliance with the EMS in their departments.
Responsible for maintaining information on use, storage and inventory of all production materials.
Lead by example with humility/discipline to achieve personal improvement.
Embrace change and lead standardization and best practice implementations to develop seamless product or process development.
Establish and maintain a positive employee relations climate. Address corrective actions as needed.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
3-5 years progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
History of developing personnel to full potential
What Will Put You Ahead
Bachelors degree in engineering or similar discipline
8-10 years experience as a leader in quality, development, program management or engineering
Experience with decorative exterior trim Tier 1 position
Knowledge of plastic injection molding, plating, painting, assembly, part design, and tooling
