Ground Up Construction Recruiting is partnered with a local general contractor in Lawrence, KS that specializes in multi-family projects to help them hire an Estimator. They're a close-knit team of 20 that put an emphasis on flexibility and work-life balance, allowing for this role to be hybrid.

Compensation & Benefits:

$90k-$120k Salary

Responsibilities:

Provide all estimating and pricing on projects - conceptual estimates, schematic estimates, design development estimates, and estimates for bidding

Prepare, expedite, and monitor logs for tracking shop drawings, contract documents, submittals, requests for information, change orders, and material delivery logs

Build relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and municipal authorities

Participate/lead post-bid, buyout, O/A/C, coordination, subcontractor, staff, and scheduling meetings

Prepare and transmit bid packages and invitations to bid

Assist in planning construction operations and sequences

Assist with the solicitation of bidders by developing and compiling a list of bidders invited to bid the project and prequalifying a bidder for a project

Attend and represent the company in project estimating meetings, project review meetings, and pre-bid meetings
