Job Summary:

Seeking a hands-on Sr. Airbags Test and Integration Engineer to lead restraint system integration and testing for new and existing vehicle models. This role involves planning, executing, and analyzing tests, managing test materials, and supporting lab operations, while working closely with Design Release Engineers (DREs) and Tier 1 suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead restraint system integration and vehicle-level testing

Develop and maintain test plans, forecasts, and reports

Analyze test data and manage root cause investigations

Coordinate with DREs and suppliers for part and system development

Maintain and improve lab operations, safety, and equipment calibration

Operate test equipment, including forklift (after certification)

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Automotive OEM or Tier 1 experience with airbags/interiors preferred

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to handle physical components during test setups

High ethical standards and attention to detail
