Conveyor Layout Engineer
Description:
We are currently searching for a Conveyor Layout Engineer for a 6-12+ month contract assignment in Georgetown, KY.
About the Role
Design and coordinate conveyor and building layouts through collaboration with the customer. Understanding of automotive paint shop, body, and general assembly layouts.
Responsibilities
Work closely with Project Management, Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, and Manufacturing to design a system layout.
Document information, decisions, changes, and open issues related to system layout from customers and suppliers.
Create and release final installation drawings to the project team, manufacturing team, and the customer installation team.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing design environment and working with various engineering teams.
Required Skills
Proficiency with 2D AutoCAD.
Must be able to present technical information to customers in meetings.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of 3D mechanical design software applications is helpful but not required.
Understanding of automotive paint shop, body, and general assembly layouts.
