Position Summary:
The Scrum Master is the driving force of the successful delivery of multiple teams and will monitor the integration and dependencies across multiple teams on site. In this role, you should accelerate impediments, manage risks, and help drive program-level continuous improvement. You are also held accountable for facilitating standup, grooming, and retrospective meetings for the projects. The successful candidate will set the teams agenda with agile process and be the go-to person for supporting the teams work.
Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
Leadership and/or Lead experience
Experience with creating self-managed teams
Experience working in an application development environment, a plus

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Oversee and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, grooming sessions, retrospective, etc.) to ensure that team(s) are meeting sprint goals and milestones.
Collaborates with the program leadership team to prioritize and manage program backlogs.
Ensure timely delivery of software with a high level of quality in an agile environment.
Identifying ways to enhance effectiveness and efficiencies of processes and development procedures.
Communicates program plans and progress to broad stakeholder audiences.
Update management on each sprint release and updates to progression of products.
Ensure value delivered by a program is tracked through metrics.
Put together reporting on teams burn down and managed delivery cycles.
Maintain a clear and consistent channel of communication with the managers, teams, and stakeholders to ensure timely and effective communication of statuses and any issues that impacts team’s delivery.
Provides visibility into program health, progress, and impediments.
Lead and demonstrate value-add principles to a team, while ensuring Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to.
Voice of reason and authority, with the ability to make the tough calls while facilitating discussions on alternatives or different approaches.
Promote and provide environment for feedback, team communication and innovation.
Assist in establishing standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation and process improvements.
The incumbent is expected to need little or no direct guidance or supervision on a day-to-day basis.
