The Opportunity

We are looking for a Control Systems Engineer with over two years of experience with industrial Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and Distributed Control Systems (DCS). The ideal candidate for this opportunity has solid communication skills, can work independently with minimum supervision, is team oriented, personable, and possesses a strong desire to make a positive contribution to the business. This position requires a well-organized and versatile individual with experience in SCADA and DCS control systems engineering, programming and integration specific to the Water and Wastewater industries.

Responsibilities:

Provide on-site technical support to DCS Systems for water/wastewater facilities located in San Diego, CA

Support for Installation, Start-Up, and Operation of sophisticated DCS Systems.

Analyze, troubleshoot and maintain industrial control systems

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Computer Science

Over two years of practical work experience

Understanding of networking and computer assembly/troubleshooting experience

Preferred Qualifications that may set you apart:

Experience with control systems engineering and an understanding of ISA standards

Experience with Emerson Ovation DCS

Experience in the water/wastewater treatment industries

Experience with Allen Bradley, Modicon, Siemens, and GE Fanuc PLCs

Experience with Wonderware, RSView, and PanelView HMI/OITs

Programming experience in Ladder Logic, STL, FB, SFC and SAMA

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent customer service skills including an ability to interact professionally and knowledgeably with clients

Experience with the MS Office Suite

We offer a generous salary and benefits package that includes company paid medical and dental insurance, vacation and a 401(k) plan.
