Journeyman Lineman

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Journeyman Lineman to handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical power lines and related equipment. This role involves working with high-voltage systems, using specialized tools and vehicles such as bucket and line trucks, and ensuring safe and reliable service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair overhead and underground electrical and communication systems

Perform splicing, testing, bonding, and termination of electrical cables

Set poles, anchors, transformers, streetlights, and other components

Inspect and troubleshoot power lines and equipment

Operate electrical testing tools and ensure safe practices near energized systems

Provide training to apprentices and ground crew

Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Completion of a recognized lineman apprenticeship program

Valid California Electrical Journeyman License and CDL
