The Quality Control Manager is responsible for leading the QA team to ensure all products and processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role develops and enforces QA policies, coordinates audits, manages corrective actions, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement across departments.

Salary: $70,000-$75,000
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance procedures and policies
Lead and manage the QA team, including hiring, training, and performance reviews
Oversee product inspections, testing, and validation to ensure quality standards are met
Coordinate internal and external audits; ensure regulatory compliance
Manage CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) processes
Collaborate with production, engineering, and customer service to resolve quality issues
Analyze quality data and present findings to senior leadership
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement QA best practices
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field preferred
5+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, with leadership experience preferred
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Preferred Skills:
Certifications: HACCP, SQF, PCQI, Internal Auditor (especially within USDA-inspected facilities)
Proficiency with quality management systems (QMS) and statistical analysis tools
