Laboratory Assistant

Title - Bioprocess Associate

Location: East Syracuse, NY - 13057

Schedule: 6 AM–6 PM Day Shift, 36/48 hour alternating weekly schedule (must be available for holidays, weekends, and overtime)

Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Physical Demands: Ability to bend, twist, kneel, squat, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs unassisted

Additional: Must follow strict hygiene and gowning protocols

Key Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and clean manufacturing equipment (valves, hoses, piping, etc.)

Prepare large-scale (up to 2000L) buffers, media, and reagents

Monitor equipment and process parameters, report abnormalities

Maintain precise, accurate documentation of work performed

Sustain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Develop and maintain proficiency through training

Safely handle hazardous materials (caustics, acids, steam)
