The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst supports enterprise-wide reporting, analytics, and dashboard development using Microsoft’s Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric technologies. This role is responsible for transforming raw data into insightful and actionable visualizations, maintaining robust data pipelines, and contributing to the organization’s self-service analytics capabilities. The BI Analyst collaborates closely with functional teams to design and deploy solutions that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
Essential Job Duties
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that support strategic and operational goals.
Leverage Microsoft Fabric and Power Platform tools (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) to build integrated analytics solutions.
Develop and manage SharePoint lists, libraries, and pages used as data sources or interfaces for BI solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
Create and manage data models, DAX measures, and visualizations aligned with reporting standards.
Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all BI products.
Support the integration of data across cloud and on-premise systems using Microsoft Fabric (Dataflows, Lakehouse, Pipelines).
Document processes, data definitions, and solutions to support transparency and reuse.
Provide training and technical support to business users adopting self-service BI tools.
Assist in automating workflows and processes using Power Automate and Power Apps.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
3–5 years of professional experience in a business intelligence or data analytics role.
Proficiency in Power BI, including experience with DAX, data modeling, and interactive visualizations.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
Experience with SharePoint Online list development and customization.
Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric features (e.g., OneLake, Dataflows, Pipelines, Lakehouse, Notebooks).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience integrating data from ERP, HR, CRM, or financial systems.
Working knowledge of SQL or other query languages.
Understanding of data security and access control models within Microsoft 365.
Prior experience supporting government contracting or compliance-heavy environments.
