Network Integration Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled System Integration Services Engineer to support the deployment, integration, and optimization of advanced Network Management Automation (NMA) solutions. This role focuses on delivering integrated system solutions that enhance network performance, enable automation, and streamline service provisioning at Layer 2 and Layer 3 within service provider or enterprise network environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of network infrastructure, systems integration practices, and experience with NMA platforms that manage L2/L3 devices and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead or contribute to the integration of NMA platforms with multi-vendor L2/L3 network infrastructure.

Configure and validate Layer 2 components (e.g., switches, VLANs, link aggregation) and Layer 3 components (e.g., routers, routing protocols, IP address management).

Integrate service orchestration frameworks for provisioning and managing network services like VPNs and network slices.

Design and implement automated workflows for fault detection, service provisioning, and performance monitoring.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, network operations, software development) to gather requirements and deliver custom integration solutions.

Perform system validation, conduct end-to-end testing, and troubleshoot integration-related issues.

Support fault and performance management workflows by integrating monitoring tools and generating operational dashboards.

Document system configurations, interfaces, test procedures, and deployment guides.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of experience in systems integration, network operations, or solution deployment roles.

Strong understanding of Layer 2 (switching, VLANs, MAC addressing) and Layer 3 (routing, IP addressing, protocols like OSPF/BGP).

Experience with NMA or OSS/BSS platforms for managing and automating network services.

Proficiency in network management protocols (SNMP, NetConf, REST APIs) and troubleshooting tools.

Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a focus on service quality.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience integrating service orchestration platforms or network slicing features.

Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems, virtualization, and containerization.

Knowledge of scripting or automation tools (Python, Ansible, Bash).

Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, Network Automation Specialist).
